MUSEUM STORE ASSOCIATION CONVENTION 2008!

Museum store visitors like to take home a memento from their visit.
What better than a hand-made counted cross stitch or needlepoint project!

We offer a line of products available in stock and we will also custom-design products exclusively for your museum store. The designs feature pillow fronts, eyeglass cases, bookmarks, holiday ornaments, coasters and such.  All designs are available as kits. Our kits are available in both needlepoint and counted counted cross stitch. Needlepoint kits include a printed design on 18-count canvas, color graph, needle, pre-sorted threads and directions for stitching as well as completing your project. Custom Designs Services

We also design custom needlepoint and counted cross stitch kits for museum stores. Our kits are made exclusively for your store. They can be based on a special exhibition or inspired by articles in your permanent collection.  Any piece of art, in any medium, can be turned into stitches. Our experience designing custom product assures the museum store buyer fast product development and a quality product.

The items shown at the top of this page and to the right are a small sampling of some of our designs.  The rooster coaster at upper right and bookmark on the left were inspired by the stencil designs of Leon Bakst at The Evergreen House in Baltimore, MD.  The coaster at lower right is based on a border detail from a Tiffany stained glass window at The Cleveland Museum of Art.  The two holiday ornaments are details from a Baltimore Album Quilt from The Baltimore Museum of Art and the purse was inspired by a William Morris textile from The Baltimore Museum of Art.
